New Housing HST Rebate for a newly built or substantially renovated home bought from a builder as your primary residence. Federal portion: 36% of the 5% GST (max $6,300, phased out between $350K–$450K). Ontario portion: 75% of the 8% provincial HST (max $24,000). Rental and owner-built rebates differ.
